“The Temple of the Holy Spirit”
…only in regard to the throne will I be greater than you. —Genesis 41:40
I am accountable to God for the way I control my body under His
authority. Paul said he did not “set aside the grace of God”— make it
ineffective (Galatians 2:21).
The grace of God is absolute and limitless, and the work of salvation
through Jesus is complete and finished forever. I am not being saved— I
am saved. Salvation is as eternal as God’s throne, but I must put to
work or use what God has placed within me. To “work out [my] own
salvation” (Philippians 2:12)
means that I am responsible for using what He has given me. It also
means that I must exhibit in my own body the life of the Lord Jesus, not
mysteriously or secretly, but openly and boldly. “I discipline my body
and bring it into subjection . . .” (1 Corinthians 9:27).
Every Christian can have his body under absolute control for God. God
has given us the responsibility to rule over all “the temple of the Holy
Spirit,” including our thoughts and desires (1 Corinthians 6:19).
We are responsible for these, and we must never give way to improper
ones. But most of us are much more severe in our judgment of others than
we are in judging ourselves. We make excuses for things in ourselves,
while we condemn things in the lives of others simply because we are not
naturally inclined to do them.
Paul said, “I beseech you…that you present your bodies a living sacrifice…” (Romans 12:1). What I must decide is whether or not I will agree with my Lord and Master that my body will indeed be His temple. Once I agree, all the rules, regulations, and requirements of the law concerning the body are summed up for me in this revealed truth-my body is “the temple of the Holy Spirit.”

PENTECOST SUNDAY May 24, 2015
SUNDAY May 24, 2015 is PENTECOST SUNDAY....50 Days after Resurrection
Sunday...marking the wondrous event in the Book of Acts when as
promised by the Risen LORD JESUS CHRIST to ask the FATHER to send the
HOLY SPIRIT...the Comforter and Teacher for the Believers...many called
this the "Birthday of the Church"...the ministry of Christ through His
Followers worldwide.
Sharing a well written teaching on the HOLY SPIRIT and the Baptism Every Believer is exhorted to believe and receive for power in service in CHRIST.....
.
I pray this will answer many questions Christians seem to stumble over in their
faith....concerning the Baptism in the Holy Spirit....Pray and seek to understand...
Personal Testimony: I was Born Again (Saved through Faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord) at age 7 and Baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking/singing in Tongues (other Languages) at age 9 (without any teaching from others...this was something the Lord did to increase my faith and ability for service to the nations...(ministry for over 30 years in 57 nations)
Through the Holy Spirit and His Gifts, I have led many thousands in large Crusades and also "one on one" into this glorious infilling for the Believers.
The Body of Christ must obey and receive power from the Holy Spirit to experience all of His Gifts to serve, preach the Gospel and exalt the Risen Lord Jesus Christ to a fallen world....... ALL for the GLORY OF GOD!

THE BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT.....
The baptism in the Holy Spirit is the empowering for service that takes place in the life of the Christian.
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a Second encounter with God. The first encounter with God is called as 'conversion' or salvation. Just as the indwelling Spirit reproduces the life of Jesus, the outpoured, or baptizing Spirit reproduces the ministry of Jesus.
To illustrate, if I had a glass of water and took a swallow, then the water would be inside me. If, on the other hand, I went down to the beach and stepped into the ocean, then I would be in the water. We receive, as it were, a drink of the Spirit when we are saved, but when we are baptized in the Spirit, it is as if that initial drink becomes an ocean that completely surrounds us.
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a definite experience, not identical with conversion. When the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is received, unknown tongues will follow. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is given to endue the believer with power from on high; to give and to equip him for a practical, efficient, spirit-filled, soul-winning ministry and service. Inasmuch as this is the dispensation of the Holy Spirit, every believer has a right to expect His incoming to be after the same manner as recorded by the Word of God in Bible days.
Luke 24:49; John 14:16; Acts 1:8; 2:4, 38-39; 10:44 -48, 19:6
Do not think that I am saying you have to speak in tongues to be saved. I am not. The work of the Lord Jesus Christ and the mercy of God bring salvation and the indwelling Spirit, and that does not involve speaking in tongues. Speaking in tongues, from all indications in the New Testament, is the consequence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit. There was an initial utterance in tongues, bearing witness that the tongue had been sanctified and empowered by God for His use. But speaking in tongues was not necessary for the salvation of those people.
You may be asking yourself, how do I receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit? Realize that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit comes by faith just like salvation, healing or anything else received from God. God wants you to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said in Luke 11:13, "If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children; how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?"
Praying in tongues is an act of faith. You must step out in faith after you have asked to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and begin to speak. The Bible says in Acts 2:4 that when the disciples received an infilling of the Holy Spirit that they "...began to speak with tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance." They stepped out in faith, following the leading of the Spirit, and started speaking in tongues. They (themselves) began to speak the words the Spirit was speaking in their hearts.
My friend, no one can tell you what to say or lead you in a language. You must step out in faith after you have asked to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and begin to speak. When you do, God has promised in His Word that you as His child will receive.
Begin by letting God know that you believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is Biblical, that it is for you, and that you are asking Him for this experience. As you do this, begin to praise God. Lift your voice in worship and adoration to the Father. As you do you the Spirit will place words, and phrases inside your own spirit. As you begin to sense these sounds, open your mouth and begin to verbalize outwardly what is happening inwardly. The Bible says that "...they began to speak in other tongues...". And as a disciples of the Lord, we too must open our mouths and receive the Holy Ghost baptism. Believe it, and receive it!

HAPPY BLESSED BIRTHDAY TO THE NATION OF ISRAEL!
MAY 14, 1948 ~ MAY 14, 2015 67 MIRACLE YEARS!
GOD BLESS ISRAEL
In the distance, the rumble of guns could be heard from fighting that broke out between Jews and Arabs immediately following the British army withdrawal earlier that day. Egypt launched an air assault against Israel that evening. Despite a blackout in Tel Aviv–and the expected Arab invasion–Jews joyously celebrated the birth of their new nation, especially after word was received that the United States had recognized the Jewish state. At midnight, the State of Israel officially came into being upon termination of the British mandate in Palestine.
Modern Israel has its origins in the Zionism movement, established in the late 19th century by Jews in the Russian Empire who called for the establishment of a territorial Jewish state after enduring persecution. In 1896, Jewish-Austrian journalist Theodor Herzl published an influential political pamphlet called The Jewish State, which argued that the establishment of a Jewish state was the only way of protecting Jews from anti-Semitism. Herzl became the leader of Zionism, convening the first Zionist Congress in Switzerland in 1897. Ottoman-controlled Palestine, the original home of the Jews, was chosen as the most desirable location for a Jewish state, and Herzl unsuccessfully petitioned the Ottoman government for a charter.
After the failed Russian Revolution of 1905, growing numbers of Eastern European and Russian Jews began to immigrate to Palestine, joining the few thousand Jews who had arrived earlier. The Jewish settlers insisted on the use of Hebrew as their spoken language. With the collapse of the Ottoman Empire during World War I, Britain took over Palestine. In 1917, Britain issued the “Balfour Declaration,” which declared its intent to establish a Jewish homeland in Palestine. Although protested by the Arab states, the Balfour Declaration was included in the British mandate over Palestine, which was authorized by the League of Nations in 1922. Because of Arab opposition to the establishment of any Jewish state in Palestine, British rule continued throughout the 1920s and ’30s.
Beginning in 1929, Arabs and Jews openly fought in Palestine, and Britain attempted to limit Jewish immigration as a means of appeasing the Arabs. As a result of the Holocaust in Europe, many Jews illegally entered Palestine during World War II. Radical Jewish groups employed terrorism against British forces in Palestine, which they thought had betrayed the Zionist cause. At the end of World War II, in 1945, the United States took up the Zionist cause. Britain, unable to find a practical solution, referred the problem to the United Nations, which in November 1947 voted to partition Palestine.
The Jews were to possess more than half of Palestine, although they made up less than half of Palestine’s population. The Palestinian Arabs, aided by volunteers from other countries, fought the Zionist forces, but by May 14, 1948, the Jews had secured full control of their U.N.-allocated share of Palestine and also some Arab territory. On May 14, Britain withdrew with the expiration of its mandate, and the State of Israel was proclaimed. The next day, forces from Egypt, Transjordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq invaded.
The Israelis, though less well equipped, managed to fight off the Arabs and then seize key territory, such as Galilee, the Palestinian coast, and a strip of territory connecting the coastal region to the western section of Jerusalem. In 1949, U.N.-brokered cease-fires left the State of Israel in permanent control of this conquered territory. The departure of hundreds of thousands of Palestinian Arabs from Israel during the war left the country with a substantial Jewish majority.
During the
third Arab-Israeli conflict–the Six-Day War of 1967–Israel again greatly
increased it
s borders, capturing from Jordan, Egypt, and Syria the Old
City of Jerusalem, the Sinai Peninsula, the Gaza Strip, the West Bank,
and the Golan Heights. In 1979, Israel and Egypt signed an historic
peace agreement in which Israel returned the Sinai in exchange for
Egyptian recognition and peace. Israel and the Palestine Liberation
Organization (PLO) signed a major peace accord in 1993, which envisioned
the gradual implementation of Palestinian self-government in the West
Bank and Gaza Strip. The Israeli-Palestinian peace process moved slowly,
however, and in 2000 major fighting between Israelis and Palestinians
resumed in Israel and the occupied territories.

PROPHECY for the BODY of CHRIST: "LET ME BE YOUR LIFE!"
Received by: Gerri Merrick:
"Do not let your peace be shattered.
Do not let your faith be pierced.
Do not let your confidence be stolen.
Do not let your assurance be drained away.
You are mine...My children,
My people, the salt and light upon the earth.
You are the witnesses to My Truth.
You carry My love within you,
as a testimony of My Faithfulness.
Stay covered under My wings for shelter.
Live in the high tower and fortress of My love and power.
These are hard and trying times in all the nations.
but I tell you that terrible times are coming...
they are even on the horizon.
Times that will be a terror for those of the world...
who have chosen to put their trust and set their love
upon the false security of the things of the world...
the riches and dull glitter of the world.
They shall not stand.
Many shall not survive.
Men will shake and drop to their knees in terror
and fear as their foundations crumble under them
as in an earthquake.
Many hearts shall stop. Many shall choose death to try
and escape from the things that used to give them pleasure.
I AM THAT I AM.
I shall never change.
Those who choose life and blessings are the ones who choose ME.
The nations shall continue to fester and boil.
No one will have an answer to stop the destruction.
Only turning to Me can be found safety and relief.
The birth pangs have begun...those with My Spirit
shall know what to do, where to go and when to go.
My Kingdom is not of this world.
On the very last day on the earth, I stated this Truth to one who was of the world. (Note: Pontius Pilot asking about "truth")
I have made the seeking of My Kingdom a first priority.
I have said that it is the Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom...righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
The depth of the oceans is not concerned
with the waves crashing upon the shore far above.
Even hard rain is not noticed in the deep of the seas.
Do not let yourself be troubled.
Do not let yourself be afraid.
Let the focus of your life be ME!
Let the peace only I can bring cause quiet strength
and steadiness.
You will look and see...but do not let the things
of this world unsettle your heart and mind and soul.
I AM all that you need.
I AM your total life.and delight.
Nothing shall unsettle you as you stay
fixed in your faith in ME.
Like a young eagle high on a ledge with his parent...
you shall only "watch the valley below..."
Stay close to ME...your Shepherd Savior.
Stay peaceful in ME...your Faithful Father.
Stay safe and joyful in ME...your Creator King."

Many are Called but Few are Chosen
Do you understand what the Bible verse, "many are called but few are chosen" means? There are a number of Bible verses where Jesus tells us that only few will be saved and enter the Kingdom of God. The problem is, the majority of the Christian world chooses to ignore these verses, and just carry on in their worldly lives thinking they are saved because they said a prayer to Jesus at one time, or because they belong to a church that "know" the truth, and "knowing" the truth they think will save them, rather than a daily loving relationship with the Lord Jesus. Friend, this message that Jesus is getting across is vital! We MUST heed the warning and change our lives and give our ALL for the Lord Jesus. So let's look at these verses about many being called but few are chosen.
Matthew 20:16 ...'So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.'
Matthew 22:14 ...'For many are called, but few are chosen.'
So Jesus confirms this twice, that many are called but only few
are chosen. Now some Christians will say that this is in comparison to
the whole
of the world population, but this isn't so. Jesus is talking to
the church, and the professing Christian world. He is talking to those
who
believe in Him, the called ones, and out of those called ones,
only few are chosen. In other words, only few are saved and will enter
into
Heaven. Why? Because only few in comparison to the whole of the
professing Christian world actually gave their all for Jesus. The rest
believe
in Him, but they wanted to hold on to their lives on this earth,
and are not worthy to enter into God's Kingdom, as Jesus said ... John 12:25
...'He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.' ... You see, only those
who are ready and willing to give up this life for the Lord will gain eternal life.Matthew 22:11-14 ...'And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called but few are chosen.' ... Have a real good think about these verses. Jesus is telling the parable of the marriage between Him and His church. Now above we see a man is found that is not welcome, why? Because he has not been clothed in the white garment he needs, he is still in his sinful state, he did not give his all for Jesus and cannot enter the kingdom of heaven, and being stood in front of Jesus the man realizes he is still in his sin, and is therefore cast into hell fire. Now this is the important bit - What is that man doing there in the first place? HE THOUGHT HE WAS INVITED! This man was one of the called ones, he was a professing Christian and thought he was saved and went to the wedding thinking that way. But he was rejected because he did not live according to the true faith. He kept living a worldly life and did not separate himself from the world and give his all for Jesus. Which meant he was not "clothed" with the righteousness of Christ.
Matthew 7:13-14 ...'Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.' ... Again Jesus is saying here that only few will find the narrow way. The majority of the Christian world are going down the broad EASY way, but they don't realize it leads to destruction. Take a look at the church in the Bible, and you will find a sacrificial church that gives it's all for Jesus. Then take a look at the professing church in the world today, and you will see a church in COMFORT, saying the right words, but not living the true faith, and what did Jesus say? ... Matthew 15:8 ...'This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.'
Luke 13:24 ...'Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.' ... Notice that Jesus says many will SEEK to enter in, but will not be able to. These are the called ones, those who profess to follow Jesus, but their lives show that actually they don't. So many think they can just believe in Jesus and then sit back and do nothing. But look what it says in Luke above, 'STRIVE' to enter in at the strait gate.
So many professing Christians believe they are going to Heaven, when actually they are going into hell fire. Why? Because they don't study the Word of God daily and find the truth about being a true follower of Christ. Stop holding on to the things of this world. Why do we hold on to something that will be destroyed when Jesus returns? Let it go and give your all to Jesus now!
I plead with you to give your all to Christ Jesus today. Remember, many are called, but few are chosen. So give your all to the Lord now.
EXAMINE YOUR LIFE and FAITH! MAKE CHANGES!
